1. visit the MyNSFAS account, also known as the NSFAS student portal at www.nsfas.org.za
2. Access for students and learners at the left on the page
3. click on MyNsfas Account
4. or visit here
5. Type in first names (as per ID number)
6. Type in Surname (as per ID number)
7. Type in your ID number (will your username)
8. Type in your own Email address
9. Type in your own cell phone number
10. Accept terms and conditions Tick the box provided, to allow NSFAS to check the information provided (compulsory)
11. Create a Password, To (protect your account)
12. ID numbers, Names and Surnames are validated against the Department of Home Affairs database. Only valid South African ID information will be accepted.
